Job description
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of fire and general insurance? Marble Insurance is seeking a talented and experienced Domestic Broker to join our esteemed Domestic brokerage team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our mission, utilizing your extensive expertise and market knowledge to drive successful transactions and forge enduring client relationships.
About the role
- Schedule appointments, conduct research, and follow up on leads.
- Prepare formal correspondence, including renewal letters and new policy agreements.
- Develop and nurture new business relationships.
- Manage incoming client inquiries effectively.
- Understand and address clients' unique needs and objectives.
- Provide expert financial advice on Fire and General insurance products to domestic clients, continuously monitoring, reviewing, and adjusting policies as needed.
- Manage both existing client base and new business development.
- Coordinate the processing of clients' insurance programs and policies, including submission and issuance.
- Prepare Statements of Advice and other client quoting documentation.
About you
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domestic-based broking role or strong domestic broker support ready to advance.
- Hold a Level 5 NZ Financial Services Qualification.
- Solid understanding of insurance products and underwriting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in relevant software.
